Quick answer
Yes, on plans that support it. Check for “Hotspot” on the plan before you buy — we show it on every plan card, and say so when a provider hasn't confirmed it.
Turn it on
- iPhone: Settings → Personal Hotspot → Allow Others to Join.
- Android: Settings → Network & internet → Hotspot & tethering (names vary by brand).
Watch your data
Laptops use far more data than phones — updates and cloud sync can eat gigabytes. Pause them, or choose a bigger or unlimited plan.
Unlimited + hotspot
On unlimited plans, hotspot use counts towards the high-speed allowance. Once it's used, the laptop gets the reduced speed too.
